Who we are: we are the world's only museum of refrigerator nameplates, a non-profit project.
Our goal: our goal is collection, research, and cataloguing of domestic refrigerator nameplates.
What it is: this a guidebook to industrial design — mainly Russian — although one may come across certain foreign brands here too.
What you can do: you can touch all exhibits, re-arrange them by material or appearance — all this is at your discretion (We recommend Safari or Firefox for best browsing experience).
Where the value is: the value of a refrigerator nameplate depends on the looks, age, and how easy it is to find. This is why we are not overly interested in nameplates off modern refrigerators.
Personal: Giochel... Fazotron... Kodry... all these names emerge in our dreams, these ornate inscriptions covering the surfaces of unseen, mysterious fridges. Are we ever to see these dream fridges? Are they all irreparably lost?
